Upcoming Opportunities for Carers

2024 Carers Roadshows

Trevor Clower is working with Nottinghamshire Carers Association, looking to set up local groups of carers who will design and plan the 2024 Roadshows in their areas.

The Caring Roadshows in Nottinghamshire have been organised by Trevor Clowersince 2013. They are marketplace events where services come together to share information for unpaid carers. They have grown over the years, capturing carers views and feeding into local service planning and design.

Fuel Poverty & Cost of Living Information Sessions

The Carers Hub are running a number of sessions on these topics in February and March.

Are you a Carer? Are you worried about how the cost-of-living crisis is impacting on you? Would you like more information and advice on ways to help with the cost of living / fuel poverty?

Triangle of Care Peer Review Meetings

An opportunity for carers to help ensure that involvement and communication with Carers and families of patients and people who use services grows and improves.

Care Peer Reviewer, you will be providing feedback and observations on the self-assessment our service teams have undertaken, to support them to make positive steps to develop and grow their inclusive approach to involving and communicating better with carers.

Young Carers Action Day 2024

On Wednesday 13th of March (2-5pm) Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Carers Association are running an information event for young carers, families and professionals at Vision West Nottinghamshire College.
