Help shape the future of Adult Social Care in Nottinghamshire
The Council is developing a new plan for adult social care and wants to hear directly from people who use adult social care services in Nottinghamshire and their family/friend carers (unpaid carers).
They are working with Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) and the National Co-Production Advisory Group (NCAG) to run a series of Big Conversation listening events and a survey. These will be safe, welcoming spaces where you can share your thoughts, experiences, and ideas for the future.
This is an opportunity to influence change and help shape services so they work better for you and the people you care for.
How you can take part
1. Complete the survey (closing date: end of September)
· Survey for people who draw on social care
· Survey for family/friend carers (unpaid carers)
2. Attend a Big Conversation listening event near you
· View dates and book your place
Need help to take part?
If you can’t attend an event, need the survey in a different format, or would like someone to visit your group, you can email nccbigconversation@nottscc.gov.uk. The NCC team is happy to arrange a conversation in a setting that’s comfortable for you.
If this opportunity isn’t right for you
If your caring role is different — for example, you’re a parent carer of a child under 18, or you support someone without social care involvement — you’re still welcome to share your thoughts with us at Carers Space Notts, and we’ll make sure your feedback is heard through the right channels.
